We all want a sellout NFT collection but how is that achieved and what do you need to do to ensure your NFT drop has a sellout. Well there are many factors to consider, let's run through them.

One of the first things is why do most people mint NFTs? Well the answer is as old as time itself it's to make money that's all yes some appreciate the art the technology but most are in it for the money so you need to cater to that need.

Art is very important. Gone are the days when you could just put together a quick collection and drop it, now investors look at the art and see if it has potential resale value. Is it genuinely unique? Does it have rarity? Are there sufficient traits to make each piece look different? If your collection answer positively to these questions then your on the right track

Price and Blockchain, I put these two together as they kinda go hand in hand. Ethereum is the king of NFT and has the highest gas price and the NFTs on ethereum are record breaking. Other chains like Polygon or Solana are good but considered lower value NFTs as such they command a lower price and less market resale value. When setting the price look at a similar NFT drop set to the same price point.

Quantity, if you're dropping 10K NFT you need a huge community if you're dropping 500 a much smaller community will be adequate. As a rule of thumb to drop 10k NFT you need an active community of 50K Discord members in order to sellout.

If you have these areas covered you have the sellout drop on hand, you have the community and the NFT drop size to reflect the size of the community along with the appropriate price for the blockchain you're minting on. All that's required now is to set the drop date and drop. Good Luck.
