Metaverse Group, began planning the event's triumphant return.

Following the success of the inaugural Metaverse Fashion Week in March 2022, the Tokens.com subsidiary, Metaverse Group, began planning the event's triumphant return. From March 28 to March 31, The Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW) 2023 will take place, bringing renowned fashion houses and fresh faces to Decentraland's catwalk. Walking gracefully along the catwalk within the Fashion Arena in the Luxury Fashion District, they will reveal new digital collections. The roster of well-known fashion brands that will participate in the MVFW for a second time will be unveiled in January 2023, according to Metaverse Group. The focus of the 2023 Metaverse Fashion Week will be on the most recent advancements in interoperability.

The metaverse event will, as is customary, be free to attend. Additionally, participants won't require any additional technology or VR headsets in order to participate in the metaverse fashion craze on desktop devices. The Metaverse Fashion Week 2023 is scheduled to take place on the VR sets of the Luxury Fashion District and will feature catwalk presentations, virtual shopping for real-world goods, afterparties, panel discussions, and other fashion-related events. The Metaverse Group will undoubtedly create the majority of the structures and events on its virtual property, so the event will be visually appealing.

While the dates, participants, and other specifics of the MVFW for the following year won't be revealed for some time, one important change to the schedule is already known. Miami Fashion Week will thus take part in the event both physically and virtually for the first time.

"The metaverse is a clear application for digital clothing. Users are beginning to value digital commodities at a level that is equal to or greater than that of real goods as the metaverse matures. According to Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Tokens.com and Executive Chairman of Metaverse Group, "We are happy to witness the return of Metaverse Fashion Week and the continuous successful growth of Metaverse Group."

Remembering the MVFW 2022, the opening celebration drew over 108,000 guests to its virtual settings and showcased the high-end NFT wearables and entertainment from the metaverse. The first Decentraland fashion show attracted more than 50 premium fashion houses and internet brands, led by Dolce & Gabbana, Paco Rabanne, Tommy Hilfiger, Selfridges, and Guo Pei. Over 165K free wearables were minted throughout the four-day digital fashion celebrations, while dozens of premium branded physical and metaverse wearables were also sold.

We'll keep smelling the wind for information about the MVFW 2023 so we can provide you the most recent information. Remain tuned!
